The Barn Gallery & Studio is a tastefully restored stone building, set in an idyllic location in West Cork Ireland, housing a wide selection of paintings and prints by Sheila Hooks -- at affordable prices. Our West Cork art gallery is located just a 15 minute drive from Skibbereen or Bantry -- open all year long.
The Artist
Sheila Hooks BA.,ATD. graduated from Loughborough College of Art in England in 1973, before acquiring an Art Teacher Diploma in Liverpool. Since then Sheila has exhibited her work both in the UK and Ireland whilst gaining a very wide experience of teaching art to all ages and abilities.
Art Courses in West Cork
Each Art Course is designed to enable the individual to gain as much insight into his/her chosen media as possible, whether the student is a beginner or of an intermediate level. We offer a variety of painting courses: Watercolour, Pastel and Silk Painting Weekends; 10 week Drawing & Painting Courses and Individual Private Tuition.
